After the recent release of the Eid fantasy flick SA’ET EGABA, the film’s official track QALB KHASA has been making waves online, as the song features Ayten Amer and Omar Kamal performing as a duo for the first time.
Besides Ayten and Omar, the film features Sawsan Badr, Ghada Adel, Sherif Salama, Ayten Amer, Naglaa Badr, Entsar, Mohammed Tharwat, Badria Tolba, Eman Elsayed, Ahmed Fathy, Phaedra, Firas Saeed, Mourad Makram, Ahmed Talaat, Lateefa Fahmy, and Magdy El-Bhery,
Ayten Amer and Omar Kamal, along with a performance troupe, trade funny lyrics and choreographed dance moves in QALB KHASA, raising questions on how the song relates to the events of the film.
SA'ET EGABA follows a young boy who is drawn into strange worlds, becoming involved with various families in interesting situations, some of which endanger his life.
The film stars the child actor Selim Mostafa opposite a slew of heavyweight actors, including Sawsan Badr, Ghada Adel, Sherif Salama, Ayten Amer, Naglaa Badr, Entsar, Mohammed Tharwat, Badria Tolba, Eman Elsayed, Ahmed Fathy, Phaedra, Firas Saeed, Mourad Makram, Ahmed Talaat, Lateefa Fahmy, and Magdy El-Bhery, alongside the folk singer Omar Kamal.
In terms of behind-the-camera talent, the film was pitched by Ahmed Shiko, written by the Wara' Einab Workshop ( Sherine Alaa, Mohamed Kedr and Ahmed Chico), produced by Lagoonie Film Production and Rise Studios, and directed by Mostafa Abu Seif.
