Lagoonie Film Production has announced joining the sponsors of the Cairo Industry Days, held under a partnership with the Arab Cinema Center (ACC) during the 40th Cairo International Film Festival. Lagoonie Film Production will sponsor the Screen Buzz TV workshop and the EAVE/BMS Script Development Lab.

The EAVE/BMS Script Development Lab offers daily workshops, group sessions and one-on-one consultancy for the six selected teams of writers and producers with projects in the development stage. The sessions will cover challenges facing the participants, sharing knowledge and case studies between the experts and the participants, discussions of the group's projects from both perspectives and setting a plan for following steps of each of the projects. EAVE on DEMAND - EAVE offers a full service from strategy development right through to the setting up of the workshop programme. EAVE on DEMAND provides the experts, scheduling of the content and pedagogical documents. Lagoonie Film Production is an Egyptian Film production company established by Producer Shahinaz Elakkad in 2017. The company aims to develop the film and TV industry in Egypt and the Arab world through making international films and TV series that address new non-mainstream topics to put the Arab film and TV industry on the international map. Recently,the company presented a monetary award of five thousand euros to the feature film project Certified Mail by director Hisham Saqr that participated in the Final Cut in Venice workshop at the Venice International Film Festival.
Lagoonie Film Production has recently announced its co-production of the new film Ra's El Sana (New Year's Eve) with Film Clinic. It also co-produced the short film, Fork and Knife, which competed in the 2nd El Gouna Film Festival, and Ana Shahira.. Ana El Kha'en TV series by writer Noor Abdulmajeed. The company will co-produce season two of Seventh Neighbor TV series.
